What is the witness's eye?

The eye of the witness is a quest titem that you get from so-called witnesses. These are mini bosses that appear instead of a final boss as soon as you have defeated it and its level again. For example, if you have done Bishop Leshy at the Darkwood level, various witnesses await you as bosses in his place. Caution: All opponents in the level have become stronger by the death of the final boss-so prepare yourself well for the crusade.

Where can I find Plimbo in Cult of the Lamb?

At Plimbo, you give you the eyes of the witness in the refuge of the smuggler. However, the NPC can only be found in the third area Anchor depths. He can accidentally appear there during a cross train. As soon as you have hit him, the refuge of the smuggler will be unlocked **, where you can always visit Plimbo in the future.

From Plimbo you get a quest for which you have to get eyes. Nice: The order in which the steps to unlock the quest does not matter. For example, I first defeated a witness and received his eye and then went looking for Plimbo.

What reward do I get from Plimbo?

As soon as you have received an eye of the witness of one of the mini bosses, you bring the item to Plimbo. This rewards you with one of four pieces of a Holy Talisman -you need four eyes per talisman.

If you have completed a talisman, you can exchange it for a fleece in your temple in the crown menu. The Vliese are different outfits in Cult of the Lamb and grant you bonuses for the crusades. For example, a fleece grants you four tarot cards at the beginning of a run-but you can no longer find any more during the run.
